Why is Yamaha stopping in-house production of Side-by-Side (SxS) vehicles?
Evolving customer needs, declining demand in select SxS categories, and heightened pressure on supply chain and production costs have created a business environment that led Yamaha to make the strategic decision to discontinue in-house SxS manufacturing and focus on product categories and growth opportunities with strong long-term potential.
Is Yamaha getting out of the SxS business?
Yamaha is not exiting the SxS business and will continue to focus on product innovation and development opportunities in key SxS categories, including the largest and growing multi-purpose segment.

Additional details on future plans and product offerings will be made available soon. In the meantime, Yamaha will work to ensure parts availability, service, and customer service on current and legacy SxS models.
How long will Yamaha continue selling Side-by-Sides?
2026 will be the last model year for in-house SxS production, which includes Wolverine & Viking models.  Yamaha, through its dealer network, will continue to support retail sales of all existing SxS inventory.

How long will Yamaha supply parts for Yamaha SxS models (including non-current)?
Yamaha is committed to parts procurement to supply dealer and customer demands for years to come.

How long will Yamaha supply Yamaha Genuine Accessories for their SxS models?
Current and prior model year Yamaha SxS accessories will continue to be available while supplies last.

Will Yamaha continue to offer oils and lubricants specific to SxS vehicles?
Yamaha is committed to a Yamalube procurement to supply customer demands for years to come.
Will Yamaha fulfill SxS warranties, either factory, extended (YMPP), and/or 10-Year Belt Warranty?
Yamaha will honour all warranties, for the entire term period agreed upon at the time of purchase, including Yamalube Advantage and Yamaha’s industry-exclusive 10-Year Belt Warranty.

Can any Yamaha dealer perform warranty work on a Yamaha SxS?
Yes. Any authorized Yamaha motorsports SxS dealer can perform warranty repairs on a Yamaha SxS, including recalls and service campaigns. Yamaha SxS dealers will be able to order the necessary parts and process the applicable warranty claim. Customers should contact their preferred dealer in advance to confirm scheduling and parts availability.
